The School is run by The Gujarati Seva Samaj Educational Trust which was formed in the year 1979 by the Gujarati Seva Samaj, Madurai with the noble aim of serving the cause of education for all sections of the society in this "Temple City". The trust started Jain Vidyalaya (CBSE) to cater to the children of Madurai, irrespective of Religion, Caste or Creed.
Jain Vidyalaya, A CBSE School started in the year 2015 at Thiruppalai Madurai. The co-educational school functions from KG-X in this academic year and in later years upgrade itself to the next standards. Jain Vidyalaya focuses on bench marking its standards with world class education.

Our School follows the syllabi of NCERT recommended by CBSE, New Delhi. Tamil and Hindi are offered as optional II & III Languages for classes V – VIII. French is offered as optional II. Languages for classes IX – X. Tamil is the compulsory II Language for Classes I – IV.
A highly qualified and well experienced team of teachers will lead the students at Jain Vidyalaya. The team of teachers also includes support teachers (For classes LKG - II) and a resource teacher who will train students with special needs.
Parents can meet the following authorities at the specified time on prior appointment

If deemed necessary, the school may be closed for reasons of health, safety, national emergency, insurrection, weather or any other reasons which the management considers necessary for the safety of the students.
The Examination would be conducted as per the guidelines given by the CBSE from time to time.
Open houses are arranged after each examination to facilitate the parents to visit the school and receive their wards‘ Progress Reports in PERSON. They can meet all the Subject Teachers and discuss the performance of their wards.
Parents must receive the reports of their ward in person only.
A student is promoted to the next higher class on the basis of his/her performance throughout the year. Absentees in any of the examination will be considered absent and no re-exam will be conducted.
The school is divided into four Houses. They are named AHIMSA, MOKSHA, KARMA and KSHAMA. All competitions in the school are held on Inter - House basis. House System fosters team spirit and leadership qualities.
